Google Ads Management for Arlington Businesses

For Arlington restaurants, attractions and service businesses that need one set of ads for event crowds and another for the people who live here.

There's a Rangers game tonight and a concert at AT&T Stadium on Saturday. Your restaurant's ads run exactly the way they do on a quiet Tuesday.

That isn't a menu problem or a staff problem. The ads just don't know the calendar exists. In Arlington, the calendar is half the market.

What we would do first in Arlington

We split visitors from residents. Arlington sits halfway between Dallas and Fort Worth in eastern Tarrant County, as the Handbook of Texas puts it. Visit Arlington lists AT&T Stadium, Globe Life Field, Six Flags Over Texas, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor and the National Medal of Honor Museum, all minutes from DFW Airport. Arlington's economic development office says the city attracts more than 15 million visitors each year.

Those visitors are not searching the way a homeowner in south Arlington searches. They look for "restaurants near AT&T Stadium" from a hotel room or from home days earlier. So they need their own campaign.

Two audiences, two location settings

Visitors. Use a radius target around the Entertainment District and the "presence or interest" option described in Google's location options. That lets you reach people planning a trip, not only those already standing in the parking lot. Write ads that mention the venue by name and how far you are from it.

Residents. For home services, auto repair, dentists and anything else where the customer lives here, switch to presence only and target Arlington ZIP codes. Otherwise the event crowd eats your budget with clicks from people who will be back in Houston or Oklahoma City on Monday.

Keep these two apart even if you are one business. A barbecue restaurant that also caters office lunches has a visitor campaign and a catering campaign, with different ads, hours and landing pages.

Event days are a weekly job

Google's ad schedule lets you choose days of the week and hours, but not specific dates. Arlington's biggest days move around. Cowboys home games, Rangers home stands and concerts land on different days each week. This summer FIFA scheduled nine World Cup matches at AT&T Stadium, billed as Dallas Stadium, including a semi-final, per Visit Dallas. No weekly schedule can see that coming.

So the job is a short weekly check. Look at the next seven days of events, raise visitor budgets on the days that matter, and drop them back afterward. It is the part most accounts skip, and it is why their Saturday budget is gone by 2 p.m.

The working side of Arlington

Arlington is also an industrial and corporate city, and those buyers search differently.

For fleet repair, commercial cleaning, staffing or industrial supply, run weekday business-hours ads aimed at those areas. Use search terms that name the service, not the neighborhood.

A restaurant budget, worked through

This is an illustration, not a forecast. It uses LocaliQ's 2026 search advertising benchmarks for restaurants and food: $2.05 average cost per click and 8.05% conversion rate.

  1. $800 a month ÷ $2.05 ≈ 390 clicks.
  2. 390 × 8.05% ≈ 31 leads, meaning calls, reservations and catering forms.
  3. If a third of those turn into a booked table or order, that is about 10.
  4. $800 to Google + $300 management = $1,100 a month.

For a single restaurant that math only works if a lead is worth more than a meal, such as catering, group bookings or private events. Point the budget there.

When it isn't worth it yet

If you can't take more covers on event nights, don't pay for more event-night clicks. Advertise the quiet nights instead. And if your restaurant has no online booking or catering form, build that first. Otherwise you are paying for clicks that end on a menu PDF.

What you pay, and what you keep

A flat $300 a month, with ad spend paid by you directly to Google. The account is in your name from the start. There is no annual contract, and you can leave with 30 days notice.
