Google Ads Management for Plano Businesses
For Plano practices and service businesses selling to relocated families, corporate campuses and a fast-filling Collin County to the north and east.
A family just moved from California for a job at Legacy West. They search "dentist near me" before the boxes are unpacked, and you're not there.
That's not a reputation problem. Your practice may well have the best reviews in west Plano. It's a visibility problem at the one moment a new household is choosing, and in Plano that moment keeps repeating.
What we would do first in Plano
We would build a campaign around new-arrival searches. That means "near me" and "accepting new patients" type queries for your services, with ads that name your part of town and your hours. We would also check that your Google Business Profile, landing page and ads all say the same thing. Someone new to Plano has no reason to trust any of you yet, so small mismatches cost more here.
Why Plano keeps getting new customers
Plano's growth comes from employers moving in.
- Toyota moved its North American headquarters from Torrance, California to a $350 million, 2-million-square-foot campus at Legacy West, built to house 4,000 employees, according to the Texas Governor's office.
- Plano's economic development office lists regional offices for Intuit, Bank of America and Ericsson. It also notes the city's history as home to EDS and Perot Systems, and its place next to the Telecom Corridor.
- Legacy West itself has more than 20 restaurants, and the Historic Downtown Plano Arts District anchors the older east side.
Every one of those moves brings families who need a pediatric dentist, an HVAC tech, a lawn service and a vet within weeks. They have no loyalty yet. That is the opening.
Where to aim
Plano sits on US 75 about fifteen miles north of Dallas in southwestern Collin County (Handbook of Texas). Richardson is directly south, and the growth runs north and east. The Census Bureau found that five outer-ring cities in the northeastern part of the DFW metro more than doubled from 2020 to 2025. In a single year, Celina, Princeton, Melissa and Anna took four of the top five spots among the fastest-growing US cities, and McKinney added 8,504 residents (Census Bureau).
That growth is tempting, but for a Plano practice it is a decision, not a default. A patient in Melissa probably has a closer option by next year. So we would usually do this:
- Plano ZIPs close to your location get your full bid.
- Richardson, Allen (on US 75 toward McKinney, per the Handbook of Texas) and the parts of Frisco nearest you get their own, lower bid.
- McKinney and the towns beyond are tested with a small budget, and kept only if the booked patients show up.
Use location targeting by ZIP for this, not a single radius. A radius around west Plano crosses into areas your patients never drive from.
Seasonality in a corporate suburb
The National Weather Service notes that severe storms peak in spring across the Metroplex, with large hail somewhere in the area nearly every year. Plano roofers, glass and fence companies should keep a storm campaign built and paused. For practices, the best seasonal guide is your own booking history, so we read that before setting budgets by month rather than guessing.
Local Services Ads or Search
Local Services Ads charge for valid leads rather than clicks. They make sense for home services in Plano and are worth checking for your category. Google's ranking factors include your reviews and how quickly you respond. Search ads give you what LSA doesn't: separate ads for implants, emergencies and new-patient cleanings, each sent to the right page.
A Plano dental budget, worked through
An illustration, not a forecast. It uses LocaliQ's 2026 search advertising benchmarks for dentists: $8.00 average cost per click and 10.67% conversion rate.
- $1,500 a month ÷ $8.00 ≈ 187 clicks.
- 187 × 10.67% ≈ 20 leads (calls and booking requests).
- If half of those book a first visit, that is about 10 new patients.
- $1,500 to Google + $300 management = $1,800, or about $180 per new patient.
Judge that against what a patient is worth over several years of cleanings and treatment, not against the first visit.
Today and after
| Today | After |
|---|---|
| Ads aimed at "Plano" with one bid | Full bid near you, lower bids for neighboring cities |
| New-patient searches land on the homepage | A new-patient page with insurance, hours and directions |
| All treatments share one ad | Separate ads for emergencies, implants and cleanings |
| Growth areas added by default | McKinney and beyond tested and kept only on results |
When it isn't worth it yet
If you can't take new patients within two weeks, fix scheduling before you buy clicks. And if your Google Business Profile has only a handful of reviews, work on that too. New arrivals compare profiles side by side, and ads won't make up the gap.
What the $300 covers
Management is a flat $300 a month. Your ad spend is billed by Google to your card, and the account is created in your name. There is no annual contract, and 30 days notice ends it.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Google Ads management cost in Plano?
Our management fee is $300 a month, flat. Ad spend is separate and is charged by Google to your own card.
How much does Google Ads cost for a dentist in Plano?
LocaliQ's 2026 search advertising benchmarks list dentists and dental services at an average of $8.00 per click and $72.97 per lead. Your own cost will depend on which treatments you advertise and how tightly you target.
Should a Plano business target Frisco, Allen and McKinney too?
Only as far as your customers will actually travel. Patients and homeowners rarely cross the whole county for routine work, so start close and widen once you see where booked jobs come from.
Can I see what my ad spend goes to?
Yes. The account is in your name and Google bills you directly, so you see every charge in your own account.
How fast do Google Ads start working?
Ads can show within a day of launch. Judging cost per lead takes longer, because you need enough tracked leads before a trend means anything.
